"Creation Location" is an image of my studio that is a BLACKLINE print using etching inks printed from a single hand carved basswood plate, on an etching press, requiring 32 colours. Each of the colours were hand painted on the plate and them passed through the press to get a transfer of colour. For example the rock wall and steps were hand painted 2 colours at one time and then printed. Not all the rocks were painted at one time. It took 3 passes throught the press to complete the area. The brown of the earth was printed twice, as was the wall of the studio.
